In this instructable i am going to show you how to handle the weeding issues allowing you to cut smaller objects.

An example is small lettering if the letter heights get into the 1 4 inch range the letters want to lift with the weeded vinyl.

You cut out a very intricate lettering design but when you are weeding it the letters will not stay on the backing paper and lift when pulling the negative vinyl away.

If you manage to get the thin fonts or smaller script words to cut correctly try reverse weeding to make it easier to transfer if you are using vinyl.
